1 ene 1440 año - Invention of the Printing Press
Descripción:
The printing press was invented in Germany in the 1440, and it greatly changed the way information flowed. Johan Gutenberg, a metalsmith, found that metal stamps used for jewelry could be used on paper, and this saw the invention of the early printing press. The printing press allowed the general public to more easily have access to the works of scholars such as Petrarch and Erasmus, since many books could be produced. Additionally, printed material was used for things such as reference sets, biographies, and fiction, such as romances and other literary works.
