1 dic 1924 año - Henry Herbert Goddard (1866–1957)
Descripción:
American psychologist and eugenicist known for his work in the field of intelligence testing and his involvement in the eugenics movement. He was a pioneer in the application of the Binet-Simon intelligence scale in the United States. He believed that intelligence testing could help classify individuals and guide educational and social policies. In his studies he tried to show a link between heredity, intelligence, and social behavior. He played a role in the development of the Immigration Act of 1924, which imposed strict quotas on immigration based on nationality and aimed to limit the entry of individuals considered "genetically undesirable" (Zenderland, 2001).
