By the 1520s the Spanish Head settled in many Caribbean islands They had established New Spain that spread from kenema to New Mexico. While living there the Spanish heard of a gold in riched place. This place was known as the Incan Empire. Three Expeditions were sent out to discover the land. On the second Expedition Pizarro lead. He entered part of the Incan Empire spreading his smallpox. He went back to Spain to ask for funds for another expedition to go even further and do more. On his expedition back he learned that the Incan Empire was under a chaotic state. The king and his oldest son both died of smallpox and while the other brothers we're struggling for power this put the Incans in a chaotic state.Will a civil war broke out Bizarro waited for Cortez to bring reinforcements. As a Civil War ended and one of the brothers was Victorious Pizarro wanted to meet with him. the Empire of the Incas brought a large number of unarmed men to meet with the Spanish. The Spanish sent to Friar to try and convince them to convert to Christianity. When they would not the Spanish decided to attack killing all of the men that you had brought and taking him hostage. With the Spanish holding him hostage they ask for large amounts of gold for his freedom. After the debt has been paid due to rumors they killed the king and had his brother be appointed the new thing. After this reinforcement came and they were sent to Cusco to attack and along the way they met natives who join them in their Quest and became Outlets. As they took the city they killed off all the leaders. With no one left to grab power in to lead the Spanish were successful in taking over the Incan Empire.
