10 feb 1763 año - Treaty of Paris of 1763
Descripción:
The treaty ended the Seven Years War.
Most importantly, France lost it's claim on much of territory west of the 13 colonies as well as Canada to Britain. It also lost Louisiana, which was transferred to Spain, and Spain gave Florida to Britain.
Britain was deeply in debt from the war despite its victory and land gains, causing it to end the long period of salutary neglect. Taxes (like the Stamp Act) were one way to get the money to pay off said debts.
For the colonies, the treaty helped secure their position against French invasion and offered hope for expansion although shortly after the end of the war King George passed the Proclamation of 1763, which banned expansion past the Appalachian Mountains. Of course, the colonists mostly took the Proclamation as a suggestion.
