Writes "A discourse concerning western planting", which featured 23 reasons as to why Queen Elizabeth should support the founding of the colonies. These reasons were (one) the idea that Spanish settlements would strike a blow against English economy and empire, and therefore they'd have to perform a missionary rescue of Spain's spread of ideals.
