With all micronations of the former Eastern Coalition now independent, most immediately sought statehood within the United Nations of the west, now more commonly known as just The United Nations.

One by one, every last territory was let in as a member and by this year all inhabited realms of Earth would come to be governed by one governing body.

It was with the admittance of the former small-nation of Mauritania that the UN council could finally announce that they were now the UNITED NATIONS OF EARTH.

There were some minor hiccups from there onwards, especially the Mauritanian Police Action of '88, but with the conclusion of that one final conflict Earth was united under one governing body, for the first time ever.
