While not daring to use the "Luna" name due to its bad connotations with the Lunacy incident, the ISA did send men back to the moon. Thanks to the now further improved Lunar Gateway and advances in rocketry, many moon missions would be launched in the 2040's and early 2050's that would get overshadowed by the Ares missions to mars.

The ISA moon missions of this decade were mostly focused on learning and practicing the art of remote interplanetary mining and refinery. The advances made by this development would later find other uses on mars as a way to harvest materials that could be used in the construction of sturdy and long lasting Martian habitations.
