Between 1838 and 1848, Chartists grew actively in Britain. The group was constructed to reform and advocate them granting of power and permission for all workers to vote. Before the petitions advocating political change, only the class of wealthy and aristocratic males were eligible to vote. The chartist petition was presented to higher British parliament and rejected, provoking unrest with the class indifferences.
