Earth's richest companies and governments came together in a conference to form an international coalition, the United Colonial Nations (UCN). With Earth's natural resources being slowly depleted, and threat of possible future nuclear war, the UCN begin planning to colonize the outlying planets. This was seen by the world as a becon of hope during a more stressfull time but had little funding which led to the coalition being seen as a joke.Añadido al timeline:
