Oasis was established on 25/11/2022 by team furry (Hemuli, Fuego and Chezter). Fuego built the nether lake along with the small fishing shack, Chezter did the team furry merch shop, cave, nether portal, statue and beach area with the ship, and I took care of the town area higher up, and custom trees + most of the terrain. 14/04/2023 Mocha was invited to our group so he also arrived to the base to build the sakura / windmill area.

Even though the base is relatively new, getting the water in there was painful. in the early days of 2b2e in 2020, you used to be able to spawn in water in the nether by breaking ice blocks. Somewhere during 2021, Fuego had found 2 of these nether water source blocks relatively close to spawn and kept them hidden and protected until 24/09/2022 when he figured a way to move the water in probably the slowest, most annoying way possible but it still worked regardless, so we teamed up at 4am to combine these 2 water sources to create an infinite nether water source. moving those 2 water source blocks less than 200 blocks took us a solid 3 hours but eventually succeeded at it. after making sure the the infinite water source would work properly, we started the process of transporting a 2x1 water source to the location that'd be eventually called Oasis. Fuego did most of the moving with me helping him. that whole ordeal took over 2 months and estimated 50+ hours of fuegos work to get the water to where it is right now.
