Tom Cruise is one of the most popular actors today. He has been in over 40 movies. My favorite of those movies is Top Gun Maverick. What began all of this was his birth. Tom Cruise was born on July 3 of 1962. In High School, Tom Cruise wanted to be a priest, but things changed. He soon developed a love for acting. He has three sisters. After discovering his love for acting, he dropped out of school and headed to New York. He soon became the actor we now know today. He is one of the highest-paid actors ever! In his childhood, he grew up in a poor Catholic family. They were constantly on the move and he attended 15 schools in 14 years. He even lived a few years in Canada! He was introduced to acting in fourth grade, (in Canada). A couple of years later, his mother left his father and he moved back to the US. Back in the US, he played football, bu the got cut because he was drinking beer before a game.
