Schrodinger formed the basis of wave mechanics and developed the Electron Cloud Model. The Cloud Model was a dense nucleus surrounded by a cloud of electrons at different levels of orbit. Schrodinger mathematically determined areas where electrons would most likely be found, called "lobes"
