Domino Theory: A theory that if one government turned communist in a nation then all the other nations would start to turn communist. The communism was assumed to reach all other countries like dominos falling.

The Domino Theory showed the fear in America of communism and why they tried to contain it. This showed the alliances in south east Asian that America feared and led to the next steps of containment.
