3 mayo 568 año aC - ANCHOR Yr 37 Nebuchadnezzar VAT 4956 Jupiter's Acronychal Rising

Descripción:

ABSOLUTE CHRONOLOGY OF THE ANCIENT WORLDS by Gerard Gertoux

Two astronomical dated events occurred only in 568 BCE28: 1) summer solstice and 2) Jupiter's acronychal rising. The acronychal rising is the last day of the year when the star or the planet (after a period when it was visible at night) rises in the evening after sunset and the Sun is already far enough below the eastern horizon (-6°) to make it visible in the evening twilight (Jupiter is at the bottom 3° above the horizon).

Therefore, the calculated dates of the events mentioned in the astronomical tablet VAT 4956 can be dated with remarkable accuracy only to 568 BCE.
