16 mar 1968 año - My Lai Massacre
Descripción:
The My Lai Massacre was the most horrific war crime committed by America and absolutely in the Vietnam War. American soldiers passing by the village of My Lai brutally murdered the women, children, and elderly that lived there that were obviously not involved in the war. Young women and girls were also raped before they were murdered. Overall, more than 500 people were killed. The government covered this event up for about a year before it was leaking to the public and resulted in outrage. This is very important to American history as it was once of the darker points of our history and should be taught so that nothing like it every happens again.
