The vampire Aurelius founds his cult. To seal his Order's pact with The Old Ones and enshrine their intent to allow the Old Ones to rise and consumer the world, he and his followers (including Heinrich Joseph Nest) enact a ritual. Occurring under a blood moon following the appearance of a particular comet in the sky, they massacre 6000 people afterwards known as the Feast of Aurelius. The feast empowers Aurelius with the essence of the Old Ones, fueling his reign.
