While Tara and her brother Shaun are driving home, Shaun gets in a terrible motorcycle accident, putting him in very serious and critical condition. Since her parents are so against modern medicine, they give them strict orders not to take Shaun to the hospital, saying that the doctors and nurses will just kill him quicker. After hanging up the phone, Tara has to think fast. She knows how close Shawn is to death, and doesn’t want to put his life in the hands of her mother’s homemade products. In the end, she stands up against her parents and takes Shawn to the hospital, where he makes a recovery. There are surprisingly little consequences from her parents, but for Shawn, he will be in debt with hospital bills for the rest of his life.
