When Georg got back, he got diarrhea from contaminated water. Because of this and many other reasons, he had given up hope he would escape. It was very cold and guards everywhere. Dysentery had also broken out in the camp. They were moved by train later, which gave everyone hope. He ended up a quarentine camp, which was very nice.
