In 1917 April the US finally enters the war to join its allies -- UK France and Russia -- to fight the WWI. Caused by the sinking of the passenger ship Lusitania and the atrocities in Belgium, US entered the war, looking at Germany as the enemy, after two years of keeping out of it.
