this act was a scream for help from the king's side.
whilst Charles left London parliament really stepped out of line as parliament made all of the London mop part of the parliamentary army ready to fight the king's response.
so as the king heard of this he acted upon it with the old medieval law of the commission of array where all the nobles around the country had to give up all their men to the king to help him build up his royalist army. to again get ready for parliament fighting back most nobles did follow the rule of Charles
but not all of the nobles did as it was on an outdated law and the king's position was being weakened day by day as parliament was getting a lot of public support so the noble thought that sending all there man would be a death wish .
