depicts the Battle of Megiddo, which helped solidify Thutmose’s reign as Pharaoh. The Battle was fought between Egypt,( under the rule of Thutmose III) and the Canaanites of Megiddo, who had banned the Syrians of Kadesh(Bother were rebelling territories. Thutmose III marches to Megiddo but encounters a mountain pass with three routes for traversing and chooses the most unlikely one. Ends in victory for Egypt and hostages are taken to maintain control.
