as England held the power over Ireland at this time they wanted to make Ireland a protestant nation as it was originally a catholic country
backlash started from small catholic groups around the south area in Ireland in October 1641 which would come out as uprising started wanting a self-governing Ireland. and there respect of there own religious beliefs.
these small uprising would later form together to join as a big threat to people like Thomas Wentworth, Charles and also parliament at this time as ireland demanded change.
this would quickly fall into the Irish revolution of 1642.
