Descripción:

a group of women marched 12 miles to Versailles who wanted bread for their starving children. The king agreed and gave them food but they soon demanded that the king return to Paris, as they wanted him to live with the people that were suffering, which he did. The marched him back to Paris with the heads of his guards on pikes.
