Descripción:
The Cuyahoga River, which runs through Cleveland and Lake Erie caught on fire for 20 minutes, and was about five stories tall, due to all the pollution that flooded its waters. This is significant due to the extreme nature of the fire. The fire was so extreme, that this was one of the primary inciting incidents for the creation of the EPA.
