The Protestant Reformation was when Henery the 8th wanted to divorce his wife because they can't produce a male heir. King Henery becomes the head of the church and people thought he had too much power and didn't like it. The protestant religion bigger because some people didn't agree with how Christianity was being run. Their was a lots of conflicts between christian catholic and the protestants. This event is important because it was a big impact on Europe because it was the newest branch of Christianity and up until then Chirstianity had been the main religion in Europe.
