Metacom's war was a war between Natives, Wampanoags, and English people. The Natives attacked towns in order to weaken their economy and society. But the colonists then fought back with the help of the Mohawks, the Wampanoags' rivals. Which led to the death of thousands and Native people being sold into slavery. These events led to the loss of power for Natives and power being given to colonists.
