16 dic 1773 año - BOSTON TEA PARTY
Descripción:
Boston tea party was an event when an assemblage of colonists dumped about a million dollars (342 chests)worth of tea that belonged to the East India company into Boston Harbor by American patriots disguised as Mohawk Indians. To Parliament, the Boston Tea Party confirmed Massachusetts’s role as the core opposition to the legitimate British rule. The Coercive Acts of 1774 were intended to punish the colony in general and Boston in particular, both for the Tea Party and for the pattern of resistance it demonstrated. The boston tea party led to further British crackdowns and then a lot of colonial militias and then actual war.
