9 ene 1763 año - End of the seven year war; war proclamation passed

Descripción:

The seven year war was a conflict between the Kingdom of Great Britain and the Kingdom of France. It involved every European great power at the time and the conflict affected five continents, affecting Europe, the Americas, West Africa, India, and even the Philippines. The Seven Years War ended with the signing of the treaties of Hubertusburg and Paris in February 1763. In the terms of the Paris treaty, France gave up all its territories in mainland North America, ending any military threats to the British colonies there. The Royal Proclamation was issued October 7, 1763, by King George III after Great Britain gained French territory in North America after the end of the Seven Years War. The proclamation prohibited colonists from crossing west over the Appalachian Mountains in order to prevent further conflicts between settlers and Native Americans. This didn't settle well with the colonists and this proclamation is believed to be the very beginning of the American revolution.
