The day had just transitioned to October 2, 2022, and it was 12:06 AM. Major General Lance Tavarish had been summoned by Colonel Amanda Exilamina in Five Points. She had formally requested that Handrea be annexed by the Empire effective immediately. After a brief discussion, the deed was done. The occupation that had lasted much shorter than anyone had anticipated came to an end under Exilamina’s direction, and as promised at the beginning of Operation Passionflame, she was appointed by the Emperor himself as Governor-Colonel of the new Imperial Province of Handrea. The Empire had now become the most prosperous version of itself of all time, nothing could take away the moment from them. They were fully ready to, no matter the hardships that came from the new region, no matter what problems they faced in their government, and no matter how much effort each side would put in, they were in it together. The Imperial flag now waved proudly and prominently over Five Points, alongside the HLF’s battle flag, now adopted to be the provincial flag.
