1 ene 1980 año - Argyris's Theory of Adult Personality
Descripción:
This approach is built off of Maslow, Mayo, and McGregor. It explores the way expectations of classical organizations are inconsistent with the mature adult personality. For example, scientific management aims ant controlling workers by defining their jobs in detail. Argyris believes this wrong as it limits opportunities for self-actualization. Hierarchy's create passive, dependent workers who feel they have little to no control over their work environments. This approach believes that managers who treat people positively, as responsible adults will achieve the highest productivity. It aims to provide more job responsibilities, allow more task variety, and adjust supervisory styles to allow for more employee participation and better relationships among workers.
