Patriot Sloop Sally, Capt Stone discovered a British transport in Port Royal Bay. The Sally pulled along side and the wind died. Hidden troops on the transport fired on the Sally with muskets, killing six and twelve wounded. Capt Stone had his men row the Sally out of range of the British transport.
