20 nov 1781 año - Samuel Moore Killed (Swancey's Ferry)

Descripción:

Patriot Capt Samuel Moore was hunting "Bloody Bill" Cunnignham after the massacre of Hayes Station. Capt Moore split his command to rally later that day near Swancey's Ferry. Cunningham learned of Moore small element and set an ambush near the ferry. Cunningham chased Moore on horseback for approximatley two miles before killing him.
