During the assault on Fort Sullivan (Ft Moultrie), the Frigate Actaeon ran aground on the Charles Town bar. Her Capt. set her afire and abandoned ship. Lt Milliage of the South Carolina Navy warship Prosper boarded the Actaeon, removing her bell, colors, sails, and fired on the British abandoning the ship just before it blew up.
