Samples of Laethern retrieved are made stronger and more effective. Unlike Immunotrin, it is discovered that Laethern can be boiled into an effective gas, and is distributed around the facility as a last resort.

Through this development, the first Laethern Detonation Devices are created. They work, but aren't quite effective enough to be used en masse.
