The first of the pyramids was built for a Pharaoh of the Third Dynasty of the Old kingdom named Doser. He claims the architect was a vizier named Imhotep. This first step pyramid eventually led to the great pyramids of the fourth dynasty. Most of the pyramids were built between 2670 - 2392 BCE.Añadido al timeline:
