21 h 29 m, 19 feb 1942 año - Japanese internment camps opened

Descripción:

FDR signed an order that would basically imprison Japanese, because the U.S. believed that they were Japanese spies. Even if they weren't, they were still sent to these camps. The U.S. claimed that it was for their own protection, but the Japanese noted that the guns were always pointed towards the camp and never away from it. Years later, the U.S. would issue an apology statement and give each survivor of these camps $20,000.
