Dear Riley,

I’m Miyabe, I have my PhD in endocannabinoid pharmacology (structural biochemistry and mutational analysis of ECS targets) and I love your TikTok content! But I just listened to the podcast episode on your link tree and I’m really interested in your thesis research especially the herbal library screening! My current project is formulations with rare cannabinoids and other natural products.

I’ve been in endocannabinoid/eicosanoid research for a little over 11 years and I am so, so excited to find another scientist sharing this passion not only for cannabis/ECS but for other natural products (not to mention communicating science)!

Also I’m in Boston so we’re pretty close geographically! Anyways I’d love to connect at some point in the near future and talk about all things natural products pharmacology.

P.S. I also just had the same experience with an edible post and was shocked how many people don’t feel edibles! I’ve reached out to a couple of my colleagues and I have a theory about variations in absorption that I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts on.
