Draft Dodgers were exactly what it sounded like, US citizens attempted to avoid getting drafted to the Vietnam War in the late 60's. This form of 'protest' signified that the US citizens were exhausted with the war and not willing to place any more lives at risk in Vietnam. This domestic disapproval had caused the US government to work even more effectively to remove troops from overseas.
