Marcus at home, drunk and angry, relying on Julianne to work and do the housework.

Pete is always out, getting into trouble and being brought home by the police. Gets a slap on the wrist from Marcus.

Meanwhile, Marcus is raping Julianne whenever she does something wrong, or beating Dominic when he fights or also does something wrong.

Dominic shields Toby one night when he wets the bed and receives a brutal beating from Marcus.

They’re not eating, being starved and locked in cupboards when they do something wrong. Dominic is starting to dumpster dive whenever he can to feed his brother.

Growing angrier and angrier at Marcus as well as his mother who won’t call the police or leave. Even when the police do turn up, Julianne defends Marcus. Dominic and Toby spend as much time out of the house as possible to be away from Marcus.
