Meets Erika Waterstone, Anna and Susannah’s new dorm friend, and a friend from Dominic’s past. He is instantly besotted with her, slowly accepting that him and Anna are meant to be best friends and nothing more.

9th September, 2009 – First time Sam speaks to Erika; on the campus field surrounded by their friends. She is quiet and indifferent to him but he knows he fancies her. Sees her darkness and is attracted to it. She is the stark opposite to Anna and that seems to make him like her even more.
