Whilst playing hide and seek one evening with Fifi (four years old) and Jenny is cooking dinner downstairs, Anna goes to her father’s door. Hasn’t seen him in ages, still scared of him and experiencing those nightmares still.

She finds the door unlocked, the window at the end of the hallway open. She goes in, finds her mother’s locket with the photo of Annabella holding Anna as a baby and the sisters in the other side, on the floor. Looks up and finds Christopher dead and hanging from the rafters. She screams.

Jenny appears and carries Anna out of there screaming. Police and ambulance arrive. They confirm it was suicide. Anna is paralysed in her horror and grief.
