19 abr 1775 año - Battles of Lexington and Concord
Descripción:
Colonist "Minutemen" stood ready to defend Lexington. They were told not to fire until they saw the whites of the British soldier's eyes. No one knows who fired the first shot, but it is known as "the shot heard round the world" because it began the American Revolution.
The colonists were easily defeated at Lexington, and the British began to march to Concord. At this point, colonists hid along the route and used guerrilla tactics like camouflage and hiding behind trees to pick off British troops. The British eventually retreated, and the colonists were shocked at their victory.
