It was in English hands until 1313, when Robert Bruce took it after besieging Castle Rushen. Then in 1315 Sir John of Lorn continued fighting Bruce and even captured the Isle of Man. However a confused period followed when Mann was sometimes under English rule and sometimes Scottish, until 1346 at the Battle of Neville's Cross.Añadido al timeline:
