The March on Washington was a massive march protest for the Civil Rights of African Americans when around 250,000 protesters and activists gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial.

The event is also known for the deliverance of Martin Luther King Jr's speech, "I Have a Dream," which called for civil and economic rights and end to racial discrimination in the United States.
