One of the most famous Apollo missions, Apollo 11, manned by Neil Armstrong and helped by "Buzz" Aldrin, was the first manned mission to land on the moon. After six and a half hours of floating through space, the two landed, and this famous quote was said as Armstrong took his first steps onto the moon: "That's one big step for man, and one giant leap for mankind."
