The first dirt bike is assumed to be invented in 1914 by Siegfield Bettman. In order to make motorcycles more versatile for off-road use, Betmann used to modify them. However, it was only until the 1950s that those bikes started to become popular, thanks to Soichiro Honda's efforts in bringing them to the marketAñadido al timeline:
