15 nov 1923 año - Hyperinflation
Descripción:
There had been hyperinflation before this point, but this is when hyperinflation in Weimar Germany hit its peak. This situation had been caused by the large sum of reparations Germany had to pay as a consequence of WW1, and the government just printed more money to pay the debt, which caused the value of money to hit rock-bottom. At this time, 1$ (U.S.) was worth 4,210,500,000,000 German marks. The German economy crashed, and people no longer saw the value of money, and people even used money to burn as fuel since it was more useful as paper than it was money.
