1 jun 1921 año - dispute over the aaland islands
Descripción:
Between Finland and Sweden in 1921. Both countries threatened war over the Islands but eventually Sweden accepted that the Islands should belong to Finland. The League negotiated with both countries and came to the decision that it would belong to Finland, but that no weapons could ever be kept there. Sweden agreed. This was also super successful because the negotiations were civilised and both countries accepted the decision on good terms. The Island remains under Finnish territory to this day.
