War of Ezekiel 38-39. Russia and allies appear to attack both Israel and America at the same time, but Russia is defeated by God Himself (Ezek. 39:2-5). This may possibly be due to a precursor polar shift (Isaiah Chapter 24), as Israel will likely be one of the pivot points of the polar shift. Other areas of the world will suffer huge winds and roll clouds, as the atmosphere fails to keep up with the ground below.

Since this passage involves the destruction of America, this appears to be near the end of the Tribulation Period, since America will be in the throes of civil war raging until at least Daniel 11:40, maybe until Daniel 11:44 (see also Daniel 8:23). One has to wonder if the rest of the world has been effectively destroyed by a polar shift by the time of Russia's defeat in this passage, since only the residents of Israel are mentioned as burying the dead. God also said He was going to make man more precious than fine gold, and that the heavens would be shaken and the earth removed out of her place at the time of the taking of Babylon/America (Ezek. 39:12; Is. 13:12-13; Jer. 50:46).

Daniel 11:44 mentions the north, which is the direction of the final attack on America (Jer. 50:3). Ezek. Chap 38-39 appears to describe effects from the incoming Destroyer, and possibly precursor effects before the polar shift as well (Is. 24:19-20; Is. 30:26). One wonders if this war involves both high and low technology, since the aftermath seems to involve burning military equipment that doesn't sound like weapons that would be used today (Ezek. 39:9-10; Rev. 14:20), yet other aspects of the war sound like rapid devastation from high-tech weapons used today (Jer. 51:11; Jer. 51:53; Is. 13:19; Rev. 18:8-9; Rev. 18:19).

Destroyer could possibly be a brown dwarf star (emits infrared radiation, invisible to the naked eye) that could be part of a wide binary star system that includes our sun. The brown dwarf star, being smaller, would rotate around our sun, with a period of about 4,384 years. As the two stars become closer to each other, their energies feed each other, and the Destroyer becomes visible with a red glow. Our sun starts to 'mini-nova', and becomes seven times brighter than normal, making the moon as bright as the sun currently is (Is. 30:26).
