The First Steam Locomotive was the first full-scale working railway that was built in 1804. It was invented and built by Richard Trevithick and was thought to be the first practical steam locomotive. It was able to hold ten tons of Iron, five wagons, and 70 men, it could also travel above 9 miles in 4 hours and 5 minutes. This invention helped provide transportation for many items and men.
